Brief Bio: Since 1984, Loren has provided support through therapy, focusing on the mindset to help her clients reach their peak potential. Loren’s education includes a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Community Counseling. In addition, she is an Oregon Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has an advanced certification as an Emotional Freedom Techniques practitioner.

In 1997 Loren and her husband, Steve, decided to live their life the way they dreamed and not wait until retirement. Instead of just talking about ideals, they made it happen. That summer they moved cross country with their 2 young children from Miami, Florida to Ashland, Oregon. Loren and Steve opened Kolpia Counseling Services, providing mental health counseling and chemical dependency treatment.

In 2006, Loren became a certified advanced Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner. People are aware of their problems and what they are not doing well.
