I believe that being able to access information and knowledge is the key to everything else. I see that being done through extending our brain power through various means: geneticl enhancement, implanted extensions, internal nanotechnology or external devices.

As our human knowledge base grows expotentially, we will discover more quickly what and how to accomplish new goals. Our human brain only uses about 10 percent of its power. We will soon find the key to unlock parts of the human brain that have never been used.

I also see diseases becoming a thing of the past within 100 years. I sincerely hope that this process will also be the key to end to wars of all kinds.

Very eye-opening, no wonder we’re all struggling to catch up. Personally I don’t think we were designed to be bombarded with so much information and if we have to have implants to deal with it? The future seems a little bleak. I would doubt all the parts of the human brain that are currently not in use were designed to help us keep abreast of endless mundane twitters from people we barely know and definitely don’t care about :) . I’d like to think that when we do find out our true potential, it’s somewhat more enlightening than that.
